Leading electronic billing and payment programs in the utility industry to highlight upcoming Chartwell conference
ATLANTA – Nov. 3, 2006 – Some of the foremost electronic billing and payment programs in the utility business will be featured during Chartwell’s Summit on Bill Presentment and Payment, to be held Nov. 16-17 at the Emory Conference Center in Atlanta.
Attendees will hear representatives from Alliant Energy, KCP&L, Southern California Edison and Tucson Electric Power, among others, who will discuss their online billing programs, participation rates and creative marketing strategies in moving customers to electronic and paperless billing services. The event’s featured speaker, Jeff Conklin of J.D. Power and Associates, will discuss the impact of billing on utility customer satisfaction.
Chartwell’s Summit on Bill Presentment and Payment will also offer a presentation on the successful fixed bill program at Georgia Power, and a discussion from Central Georgia EMC on offering multiple services, such as energy efficiency recommendations and cost analysis, around the bill to meet customer expectations.
Chartwell Summits are designed to bring together thought-leaders in specific areas of utility management – in this case, billing and payment – to share their expertise and experiences in an interactive environment that strips away barriers between “speaker” and “attendee” and allows participants to discover solutions, actionable approaches and inspiration. Chartwell Summits are utility-only, with the exception of special event sponsors.
