Austin Energy to be Host Utility for EMACS 2008, conference organizer Chartwell announces

 

ATLANTA – March 10, 2008 – The nation’s 10th largest municipal electric utility and one that has a stellar reputation for providing cutting-edge programs and environmental leadership, Austin Energy, will serve as the Host Utility for EMACS 2008, The Customer Experience Conference, to be held Oct. 13-15 at the Renaissance Austin Hotel in Austin, Texas.

 

This will be the 11th annual EMACS Conference, which provides industry-leading content for utilities on the customer experience and the initiatives that impact it, including:

·        customer satisfaction research;

·        energy efficiency, demand response, renewable energies and other programs and services;

·        customer service operations and management;

·        employee engagement;

·        customer communication and education; and

·        customer-focused strategies.
